My name is Louie Alfred, but my friends call me Louie and seldom do I get called Alfred. I’m already in my early twenties. My cover is to be a high school student. Well, seriously, I’m working as a bum here at home. I’ve already graduated from college and earned my degree.
Writing is not innate to me, as evidenced by my awful grammar and the inconsistency with the quality of my posts. It’s a skill that I was able to develop through reading novels and the encouragements of my teachers who believed in me. Other forms of entertainment that I enjoy include watching American and British TV shows especially Chuck, Grey’s Anatomy, Doctor Who and The Amazing Race, ridiculing incompetent teachers, sleeping, surfing the Internet, eating, and listening to music by Feist, Death Cab for Cutie, Snow Patrol, The Fray, The Postal Service, Hellogoodbye, Jack Johnson, and many more. When I’m not doing anything of the above to leisure myself, you’ll find me reading a book. Some of the books that I’ve read so far are the whole Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling, Mitch Albom’s Tuesdays with Morrie, The Five People you Meet in Heaven and For One More Day, Ian McEwan’s Atonement, The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger, and Khaled Hosseini’s The Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns.
